Wajer Osprey 37 Cabrio: simple elegance

Simple elegance

Construction

They may be new to the yachting business, but Dutch manufacturers Wajer Watersport certainly know what they are doing, having seemingly studied the competition and kept only the very best elements from other models. With the Wajer Osprey 37 Cabrio, the Dutch brand has produced an exceptionally elegant boat that combines comfort, luxury and high-quality finishings, giving simply remarkable results.

Above deck

The Wajer Osprey is eye-catching from the very start. The entire hull is surrounded by teak, and one can only gasp in admiration at the smooth lines and magnificent dark colour of the hull with the odd tasteful touch of mahogany. As the name implies, the Cabrio has an open-air deck with no hard top. The cockpit has plenty of seating space, including a large U-shaped bench seat against the transom that converts to a sundeck. The bathing platform is small, with steps that make it easy to get back onboard. In the middle of the cockpit, the two facing bench seats form a second saloon area above deck. At the helm station there are three separate and comfortable seats and a breathtaking number of instruments!

Below deck

The interior of the Wajer Osprey is highly adaptable for short cruises, and comes with a choice of two layouts: either a saloon area that converts to a double bed, plus a well-equipped galley and toilets in the bow, or a fixed double bed in the bow with the rest of the interior taken up by a small dressing room and a toilet. The kitchen on this model is outdoors in the cockpit. The Wajer Osprey has a spacious interior with plenty of daylight, thanks to the large hatch windows in the deck and the colour of the woodwork and fabrics.

Engines

The Dutch shipyard has put a lot of work into the hull of the Wajer Osprey 37 Cabrio in order to fit it with Volvo IPS technology. The twin 310 hp engines with IPS transmission system produce a maximum of 35 knots and a cruising speed of around 30 knots.
