Riva 75 Venere: Luxury by Riva

Construction
Founded in the 1950s by Carlo Riva, the reputation of this shipyard has grown ever since, in particular through its prestigious mahogany racing boats. Now a member of the Ferretti group, Riva has also developed a fleet of around a dozen yachts made from more recent materials, like this luxury  75-foot Venere 75.

Above deck
Despite her 23-metres, the Riva 75 Venere has fluid lines and a sporting look. The beautiful convex windshield stretches all the way back to the flybridge and is the eye-catching feature of the superstructure. This yacht is a visual feast, the epitome of elegance. The flybridge has a large sundeck and a comfortable saloon with galley. Two staircases lead down either directly below deck or to the extremely spacious cockpit with its small outdoor saloon area with a benchseat against the transom. The contrast between the dark hull and white superstructure and the use of teak all around the deck gives the yacht an added touch of class.

Below deck
On the main interior deck, Riva has opted for several more or less separate compartments. At the stern, there is a small saloon with a coffee table, armchairs and couches. In the centre, there is a separate dining area with a fully equipped galley. The helm station also has its own private area but with no direct access to the outdoors. The atmosphere below deck is very rich, with superbly high-quality materials and ultra-modern interior décor. In addition there are plenty of windows letting light flood in and highlighting the various dark and light shades used inside. All the cabins are on the lower deck, one double cabin in the forepeak and two smaller twin ones on either side of the boat. The owner’s cabin is in the centre, spanning the entire width of the boat and is impressively spacious. Every cabin has its own private bathroom and is decorated in a distinctly contemporary style. Lastly, there is another cabin at the stern for crew, with two single berths and a toilet.

Engines
Riva offers only one option to power this 55-ton beauty. The 75 Venere comes with two 1524 horsepower MTU engines, and Riva announces a peak speed of 33knots.
