New Sarnico Spider 46 GTS: Italian style for worldwide market

The success of the first model of the Spider series by Cantieri di Sarnico was largely due to its innovative line, designed by famous Italian Studio Nuvolari-Lenard who broke every previous pattern, creating forms never seen before, but also shooting some details already present on the other yachts of the shipyard.

In the new Spider 46 GTS, the same designers were inspired by the successful of the predecessor Spider 40 and the evolution of the work is gathered in an extraordinary shape, expression of the Italian style to conquer the foreigner market, starting from the U.S.A., where the first model shall be delivered.

Sinuous lines, even sensual, as gentle waves, seem have been drawn by the wind. The boat is reminiscent of the great tradition of the Italian sportive boat, but the layout is modern and the cockpit conquers the most part of the deck to take its role of convivial area, very large, fully equipped, luxurious and protected by the slim hard top.

Chaise lounge, sofas, tables and kitchenette facilities are all well placed on the main deck, leaving plenty of space for movement. The driver gets in touch with the technical equipment on board and with the propulsion system by a futuristic dashboard.

Below the deck, the space is divided into three separate areas: a double cabin forward, a large cabin in the middle with three berths and a dinette with kitchen and sofa. A very large bathroom, with separate shower, completes the setting.

The hull was designed by Victory Design – Brunello Acampora, author of the most recent and high-performance Cantieri di Sarnico’s yachts.

The propulsion system is made up of diesel engines from 480 to 700 horsepower, matched with the Flexidrive supercavitating propellers, to get great performance with low fuel consumption.
