Rizzardi 45 InCRedible

11/2005 –

Small but sturdy

Construction

Founded in 1976 by Gianfranco Rizzardi, the Roman shipyard of the same
name mainly specialises in open racing boats, but has also expanded
into luxury motor yacht design with the acquisition of Italian brand
Posilippo. The new, Rizzardi 45 InCRedible (CR stands for Cantieri
Rizzardi) is now the brand's smallest boat.

The outside is as majestic as the larger models, with the same large
forward sundeck and sleek, sporty lines that are the brand's hallmark.
The narrow catwalks and the absence of a forward handrail are due to
the boat's racing character. From the large, stern bathing platform,
passengers have direct access to the wheelhouse via a starboard
passageway, or they can take three small steps up to the aft sundeck.
Although this is an open boat, a soft-top can be pulled over to protect
the wheelhouse and its interior fittings, as well as the bench seat,
the small open-air galley and the helm station.

The living space is divided into three cabins, and the comfortable
master cabin in the bow has its own shower room. The interior is
surprisingly bright, thanks to the many portholes, the deck hatch and
the choice of light-coloured woods. For the other cabins, the Italian
manufacturer offers two possibilities: either two cabins with twin
beds, or one port-side cabin with a double bed placed at an angle and
another smaller cabin with a single bed. For both versions, the two
cabins share a shower room with toilet. The rest of the interior is
taken up by the L-shaped bench seat with dining table at one end, and
the fully-equipped galley at the other.

The Rizzardi 45 Incredible has a very sporty, V-shaped hull and, of
course, high-performance engines. The shipyard offers the choice of
either 2 x 610 hp MAN or 2 x 730 hp MAN, the latter giving maximum
power and speeds of up to 40 knots, according to the data supplied by
the manufacturer.
