Construction
The Fiart 50 is not a new model in itself, having figured in the Italian manufacturer’s catalogue for the past 5 years. But this year, the new TS version revolutionises the range’s flagship with a retractable hard-top, a feature that clients increasingly want.

Above deck
Incorporating a hard-top into an existing sports cruiser is not necessarily easy as it can deform the boat’s silhouette. Nevertheless this new Fiart 50 remains elegant and streamlined. The all carbon retractable hard-top slides away perfectly when opened, and the cockpit remains unchanged. The helm-station and on-deck saloon are protected by the hard-top, whilst to the rear, the large U-shaped bench seat that converts to a vast sundeck remains uncovered. There is plenty of room to move around onboard the Fiart 50, which has a spacious lay-out in the cockpit.

Below deck
The interior is also spacious and bright, with light-coloured woodwork and ceilings, and plenty of windows and portholes. The shared living spaces are in the centre, with a saloon that converts to a bed and a superbly equipped galley with a large work surface and plenty of storage space. Below the cockpit on either side of the companionway are two cabins with twin berths, whilst in the bow the owner’s cabin has an attractive closet space and a private bathroom.

Engines
The original version of the Fiart 50 was equipped with 2 in-line 715 HP Volvo engines, a configuration still offered in the catalogue. But the real novelty is the optional IPS transmission. The Fiart 50 TS comes equipped with 2 x 430 HP Volvo IPS engines, generating maximum speeds of close to 35 knots and slightly under 1430 HP.
