Spi Dauphine – April 16th, 06

Sunday April 16th, 2006 –

The wind on Saturday was too unstable to allow the beginning of the
Challenge. This day was a warm up for everyone, it also enabled
skippers and teams to know eache other a little better.

The Spi Dauphine Challenge did really start today with the first set of the race.

After a first start at 9h30, the set is stopped because of the lack of wind.

The race is finally launched at 3pm with a wind from 210°, force 3 Beaufort, the sea is good.

The numerous boats escorting racers are witnesses of hard fights at sea close to buoys.

The winner of the day is the Polytechnic Women School.
