It’s with a simple Press Release that Veolia Environnement announced today the end of its partnership with Roland Jourdain that started in 2004.

Veolia Environnement and Roland Jourdain have had some great adventures taking part in major sailing races, in particular the two victories in the Route du Rhum in 2006 and in 2010.

In 2010 Veolia made a commitment to build a new trimaran to compete in the MOD 70 class.

This is a very sad news for the world of yacht racing and for one of our best skippers; news on which we will come back with more details later on.
