Acquisition of Itama by Ferretti group
On december the 1st, the Ferretti Group has finalized the acquisition of the Itama shipyard announced last October during the signature of an agreement between Ferretti, and Opera together with the other shareholders of Itama S.p.A. As announced, 100% of Itama S.p.A. capital has been transferred to Pershing S.p.A., subsidiary of Ferretti group, specialized in the construction of “open” motor yachts from 37 to 115 feet.
The Ferretti group, marketed with the brand names Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Bertram, Riva, Apreamare, Mochi Craft, Custom Line and CRN, wishes to maintain the characteristic lines of Itama sport style, blue body, white deck and deep “V”-shaped hull.
The Group, which closed its financial year as of October 31st, shipped this year 373 new yachts (compared to 330 in 2003), and introduced 15 new models subdivided among its 8 brands.
